The first week went by with flying colors. Macy has been an amazing baby (of course, I have a biased opinion). Macy has been sleeping really well at night, which has been awesome. We have felt really well rested and feel like it's Christmas morning every day since she was born. It's awesome!! Her night schedule has been something like 12:00AM, 3:00AM, 6:00AM and she then lets me sleep until 9:00AM... so about every three hours. We change her diaper and feed her and then she's back in Sandman Land. After one night of restless sleep because we let her sleep too much during the day, we figured out a day schedule that has worked well too. I'll change her diaper, keep her awake for about 30 minutes, feed her and then let her sleep for 1.5 hours.
Macy has REALLY enjoyed looking at books... she has been most interested in a bee book that her Mema gave her and she also likes looking at "The Giving Tree"... I think because it is illustrated in black, white and red.
Her eyes are turning darker... Clay thinks they will turn brown... I still think it's too soon to tell...
She's finally starting to fill out her newborn clothes... thank goodness because for a while there, we didn't really have anything to dress her in.
She's truly amazing!!
congrats guys, I am happy for you. She is beautiful and hopefully one day Rachel and I can meet her.
