Patio is done!! Minus the details...

We made out great on our patio!! We got all our furniture for under $500!! Including a swing!! Pretty good considering just patio tables and chairs are between $800-$1200!! We'll be replacing the table with a square one eventually... don't like that 90s glass top look, but will wait for patio stuff to go on sale. After a few potted plants, some string lights and a few decor items with some actual COLOR in them... it'll be grand!! Oh... but, it's so nice already... and relaxing!!

A new friend... anyone know what kind of bug that is?? Granddaddy? It was actually dead...

    Looks like a fancy wood-boring beetle. A beetle for sure. If it is small, like 1/4" then it is like a weevil I would say.

    We did a little research and found out that it's an ironclad beetle, we thought it was dead, but found it again later on in a different spot... after our research, we found out that ironclad beetles indeed like to play dead when threatened... interesting.
