Macy is growing up so fast. She seems more like a little girl than a baby now... crazy! She just turned 8 months on the 15th (of September). She is a professional crawler now and boy is she getting around! We can hardly restrict her to the living room anymore... she wants to EXPLORE! This makes for daily sweepings of our hardwood floor.
Her two favorite activities are pushing all kinds of buttons and shoes... not to wear, but to play with. She loves to watch Baby Einstein videos... haha... who am I kidding? She likes to watch TV, period. But, we usually only watch Baby Einstein in the mornings for an hour or so... heehee (this makes for the perfect coffee break for me!).
She can say "mama" now... we are working on "dada". She is easily pulling up on everything and can stand on her own, using only one hand to hold herself.
We are going to the library weekly for Fall Baby Storytime... that is great fun! And this week, we are starting a music class. We can't wait!!

This is the 3rd time I have posted this comment!! Here we go again!! Thank you for updating your blog. I'm always blessed to see what is going on with all of you, and I love to see what great parents you both are. Last but not least it is such great joy to see my beautiful granddaughter!!

CRAWLING--wow what a Big girl. Josiah will probably be right behind her. No crawling yet but he sure has the rocking back and forth down. Ready to take off at any minute--nooo. I'm so not ready.
ReplyDeleteAnd she says Mama--no fair. Josiah only says Dada, oh wait he says Papa too. But only Mama when he's crying or whining so I don't know if he can really say it??
