Rayne turned 3 months old on Thursday. I always feel like he's more advanced than Macy was at her 3 month stage, but reading back on my blog about her as a 3 month old, I realize that they are actually very similar. On a sidenote, makes me really appreciate the fact that I did so well blogging her baby-hood... *need to be more proficient with Rayne's. Rayne is maybe a wee bit ahead. Rolling over at 3 months, which I have yet to catch on video... (he actually rolled over three times at 2 months, but I don't know how accidental it was). Macy was rolling at 4 months. He is definitely much stronger than Macy. They both really seemed to enjoy being on their feet at the same time, which is why I bought the "monkey jumper" for Macy at 3 months. Rayne thoroughly enjoys it the same. Other similarities... both holding heads up, blowing spit bubbles, and sucking on fingers (although Rayne is definitely WAY more of a finger sucker). At Macy's 2 month appointment, she weighed 11 pounds, 4 ounces... Rayne was 13 pounds, 9 ounces. I noted that Macy took her 3 immunization shots like a champ whereas Rayne boo-hoo'ed, which is why I think it was much harder for me with him. NOT looking forward to his 4 month appointment.
He is such a sweet boy. A snuggler (which Macy wasn't). He is VERY verbal, loves to talk and coo at us. And he loves to grab at his feet, so cute!
